By purchasing, downloading, installing, or using the FieldGuard browser plugin ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Software.
FieldGuard grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to install and use the Software on the number of devices permitted by your license tier (Individual: 1 device; Site License: unlimited devices at a single project site) for the duration of your annual subscription.
You may not: (a) sublicense, sell, resell, transfer, assign, or otherwise commercially exploit the Software; (b) modify, translate, or create derivative works based on the Software; (c) reverse engineer, disassemble, or decompile the Software; (d) share your license key with unauthorised users.
The Software and all rights, title, and interest therein remain the exclusive property of FieldGuard. The Software is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to trademarks or service marks of FieldGuard.
Licenses are sold on an annual basis. Payment is processed by Gumroad, acting as the Merchant of Record. Subscriptions do not automatically renew unless you choose to repurchase. VAT/GST is applied where legally required and will be shown at checkout.
The Software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. FieldGuard does not warrant that the Software will be uninterrupted or error-free. Heat stress calculations are based on Windy.com meteorological data and are for informational and compliance-support purposes only. They do not replace site-specific professional engineering or medical advice.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FieldGuard shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly. In no event shall FieldGuard's aggregate liability exceed the amount you paid for the license in the twelve months preceding the claim.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the Software complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards in your jurisdiction. FieldGuard reports generated by the Software are provided as supporting documentation only and have not been independently verified by any regulatory body.
FieldGuard may terminate your license immediately upon breach of these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Software and destroy any copies in your possession.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Disputes shall be resolved by the courts of competent jurisdiction.
FieldGuard reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this website. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

FieldGuard collects minimal data necessary to operate the service. When you make a purchase, your payment and billing details are handled exclusively by Gumroad (our Merchant of Record) — we do not store payment card data. We may receive your email address and country of purchase from Gumroad solely to deliver your license key and provide support.
The FieldGuard plugin operates within Windy.com's browser environment. License key validation occurs locally in your browser. We do not collect GPS coordinates, site locations, WBGT readings, or any field data generated by the plugin.
This website may use privacy-respecting analytics (e.g. page views) to understand traffic patterns. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
This website uses essential cookies necessary for site functionality. No marketing or tracking cookies are used. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some site features may not function correctly.

We offer a 14-day refund on all FieldGuard license purchases. If you are not satisfied with the Software for any reason, contact us within 14 days of your purchase date and we will issue a full refund — no questions asked.
To request a refund, use the Contact form, select "Refund request", and include your order number (found in your Gumroad receipt email). Refunds are processed by Gumroad and will be credited to your original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
Refund requests received after 14 days of purchase will be considered on a case-by-case basis. We may issue partial refunds or credits at our discretion in exceptional circumstances, such as a documented technical issue preventing use of the Software.
Upon approval of a refund, your license key will be deactivated and the Software will cease to function. You must uninstall the plugin from your browser.
FieldGuard does not issue automatic renewals. Each annual subscription is a new purchase, and the 14-day refund policy applies equally to all purchases.
